The theme of VMC this year is so relevant to our industry as we focus on sustainability through innovation. The conference continues to create opportunities to share learning with outstanding speakers whose experience and knowledge provide invaluable insights and solutions. As the BPIF extends its reach through the Communities of Interest, CDI (Creative Digital Industries) has established international engagement that covers the full spectrum of communications – the very issues that both compete with and complement print.

The BPIF has been recognised for its significant role in lobbying for and providing support throughout the pandemic. This year’s conference looks to the future with a careful balance of innovation in technology and business methods that take a responsibility for their impact on the environment.

CEO, BPIF

It’s time to reward our faithful followers with a real VMC - back with a bang for the 10th Anniversary

Having been forced to become the Virtual Media Conference on line it turned out to be a blessing in disguise when our faithful followers became part of a 650 strong international event. However, we are delighted to be back at the Rose Bowl as part of Leeds Year of Culture and again the BPIF is extending a free invitation to the creative and digital community to register in order to attend, free of charge.

Thank you to our partners, sponsors, supporters, speakers and the team that melds it together. VMC23 is at its best, a one-day conference and exhibition that provides a vivid insight into marketing communications. With international speakers and case studies including Kellogg’s, Lexus and Tony’s Chocolonely the conference showcases the industry and the way culture shapes the way it functions, the role it plays in successful businesses and the way social culture influences the way we need to communicate. The emphasis is on practical solutions for the themes of the conference: Innovation from printing to the metaverse, Creativity in design and successful business methods, Sustainability for the environment from companies that are themselves sustainable.

I look forward to welcoming you on the Fourth of the Fourth.

Robert McClements,
President CDI and Curator of VMC

I’m excited to hear from leading BOSS and BPIF members who will be sharing the latest on what lies ahead in environmental disclosure, and exploring how companies can transition from a compliance approach to an impact orientation. Expect to witness an abundance of examples of innovation from businesses that embed sustainability in everything they do. There will also be tangible takeaways on how to focus sustainability activities on generating financial returns in addition to how best to communicate sustainability performance to key stakeholders through a powerful story.

Thank you to all sponsors and supporters who have made this event possible.
