This free to attend one-day event organised by CDi, a special interest group of the BPIF, provides a vivid insight into marketing communications.

The Visual Media Conference 2019 returns to Leeds for its 6th year promising to delight and engage audiences. With the theme of Innovation and Sustainability the conference will explore how businesses can be truly sustainable in all areas by having an innovative, creative mind-set. Using real life case studies with clear ‘take-aways’ from top brands - in previous years delegates have heard from Nestle, Coca-Cola and Jaguar Land Rover – delegates will share best practice and come away inspired.

With Channel 4 heading to Leeds the VMC is truly reflecting the creative digital sectors growth in this region. With 300 plus attendees last year and international interest established for 2019 the 16th of April is not a day to be missed!

A brand design consultancy renowned for winning more DBA Design Effectiveness Awards than any other consultancy in the history of the scheme.

In 1989 Jonathan led a management buyout of Elmwood, at the age of 28. His work now takes him all over the world to clients including Heineken, Danone and Tesco to name but a few. Originally based out of one office in Leeds, the consultancy has since opened offices in London, Melbourne, New York and Singapore.

Often described as ‘transformative tech tinkerer’, a creator of award-winning social video edutainment, and maker of immersive mixed and virtual reality experiences. Having worked collaboratively from concept to shelf with a wide range of disciplines from structural design and insight agencies, marketing, commercial, technical and supply chain, Phil has a keen awareness of the challenges faced in getting new packaging concepts to market.

Since becoming Chair, Roger has led the LEP through a period of significant transformation, securing the country’s largest Local Growth Deal settlement. As the only private sector member of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, Roger works in partnership with local and national politicians to secure further devolved investment for the region to fulfil the ambitions set in the Strategic Economic Plan for the next 20 years.

Currently he leads research and development for the Production Park group of companies.
